Nicole and Jake’s Wedding

Hello and Welcome to the Information Page for Nicole and Jake’s Wedding!

We have pictures! Sheila did such an amazing job on them! I am still working to upload more, but here are the first 500!

The date is drawing near!! We would like to invite anyone who will be there Friday evening to come and meet with us at the Rio Grille at the Crossroads at 5 p.m., located at 101 Crossroads Blvd. We’ll have appetizers and beer/wine for everyone, and you can get dinner there if you like!

Here is the location where we’ll start on Saturday. We hope to see you around 3:30-4:00 p.m.! Parking at the beach is tiny, so we will have a shuttle from the Rio Grill to the beach. If you are driving multiple people, we ask that you please drop everyone off at the beach, and then park at the Rio Grille so we can shuttle you down to the beach. The shuttle only takes about seven minutes, so it won’t take long, and we’ll return you to your cars after the wedding!

While you’re in Carmel, there are plenty of activities if you have some extra time! Make sure to check out 17-Mile Drive, Point Lobos, and Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. If you have any questions or are looking for an additional adventure while you’re in California, Nicole and I are happy to help.

Hi Everyone! The wedding is fast approaching and we are so excited to be seeing you all in the very near future! We have our wedding bands now and everything is starting to feel like it’s happening soon! As the date approaches, make sure you have a place to stay. We can help you look if you want :) And here is the link to our honeyfund, where we registered for our honeymoon. We’re hoping to make a trip down to New Zealand! Love you all!

Hi Everyone!

We now have a registry if you would like to look at it! Unsurprisingly, instead of fine China, if you would like to give us a gift, we would love for the opportunity to spend a few days on an adventurous honeymoon!
Nicole and Jake

We’re excited to announce a few updates for our wedding! We know some of you have already booked hotels, but we have a few deals/recommendations:

  • Hofsas House—ask for Berg/Suss Wedding
  • Carmel Mission Inn—ask for Berg/Suss Wedding
  • Svensgaard (less expensive boutique but no wedding discount)
  • Carmel River Inn (double beds if looking to share)

We know the area is pretty expensive, but we really hope you can make it out to celebrate with us! The Monterey Jazz Festival is supposed to be the same weekend, so we recommend you book a hotel soon!

Also, could you please get your RSVPs to us by 1 May so we can get a better idea of food and other things to order (we need to know how much cake to get!).

We’re looking forward to seeing you soon, and we’ll give you more updates as we go!

We are going to have have an Indian food buffet at the wedding, so look forward to some grilled chicken, a vegetarian dish or two, and some delicious Naan and rice!
