A couple of weekends ago, I got the opportunity to help Matt and Sarah celebrate their engagement in a really unique way! Sarah contacted me and told me she wanted to do something special to surprise Matt, who graduated from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University as a pilot and now works for Boeing. Obviously, Matt loves planes, so for their engagement photos, Sarah wanted to take him to the Valle Airport and Air Museum, where they have a bunch of historic planes.
We set everything up with the airport, and when Matt came home for the weekend to take pictures, Sarah told him they were heading to the Grand Canyon for pictures. We set off Saturday afternoon and made it to the airport around 2:00 p.m. As they were getting near, Matt told Sarah he always wanted to check out the museum there, and that’s when she surprised him by turning into the parking lot!
We took a bunch of pictures at the airport and the museum and got to see some incredible planes like a Fort Tri-Motor! We all had a blast and got some great pictures.
Then, after grabbing a quick bite to eat, we set off for the Grand Canyon to catch a few sunset pictures. The lighting and the moment were perfect, so we got one of the best shots of the day there.
Overall, it was an amazing day with Matt and Sarah, and I wish them good luck in their married lives together soon!
